Ragnarok Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game developed by Gravity Corp, and is based on the manhwa Ragnarok. It is published by Level Up! in the Philippines. The game is the first commercial MMORPG to be published in the Philippines.
A sequel, called Ragnarok 2: The Gate of the World is being developed by Gravity. The publishing rights of Ragnarok 2 in the Philippines is also held by Level Up!
Philippine Ragnarok Online
Philippine Ragnarok Online, abbreviated as pRO, is the first MMORPG to be established in the Philippines. The game began open beta in June 2003 followed by its commercial release in September of the same year.
The game became an instant hit and reached a large number of gaming population before declining a few years later. pRO's success has helped establish online gaming in the Philippines.
Although its current popularity is nowhere near its dominance in 2003, Ragnarok Online is still the most well-known MMORPG in the country. Since the game has yet to cease service, it also currently holds the title for the longest-running MMORPG in the Philippines.

Currently, the game has four servers active:
- New Chaos — Commercial (subscription-based) server.
- Sakray — Test server with periodical reset.
- Valkyrie — Free-to-play server.
- Valhalla — Free-to-play server.
Valkyrie and Valhalla Servers
On October 10, 2007, a new server called "Valkyrie" was launched.1 The server is seperate from the commercial servers as it is the first pRO server in the Philippines that is free to play.
As opposed to the commercial servers, most of the common in-game items can be bought in the "Armory of the Gods" using Rok Points. There are also many settings that have been tweaked especially for the server, such as disabled teleportation and enabled player-killing in some maps. Several items have also been removed from the monster drop lists, supposedly to discourage botting.
A second free-to-play server, Valhalla, which is actually a migration from an originally commercial server Thor, was introduced. It retained much of the modifications of Valkyrie, though with some exceptions. The most notable one was that Valhalla no longer has PK-enabled maps.

Philippine Ragnarok Online hosts one server that follow a pay-to-play model (subscription). These are the general game time rates for the commercial server and can commonly be purchased through electronic loading or Level Up! prepaid cards.

Rok Points
Aside from game time, players can buy "Rok Points", a currency which enables players to purchase in-game items via special NPCs. The current conversion value of Rok Points is PHP1.00 = 20 Rok Points.
