Since this wiki's creation, obtaining information that predates 2006 has always been a challenge. Unfortunately, several other sources which existed during the wiki's existence, such as http://www.articlearchives.com/, have ceased to exist. In other words, they were lost opportunities due to the perception that many of those sites were -unlikely- to close down.

Those missed opportunities are generally demoralizing. Regardless of trying to find information of a topic through normal web surfing, third-party aid or even through 'unorthodox' means, several data is simply impossible to find and the admin is tired of requesting help from obviously uninterested parties.

Due to the lack of interest, PGIWiki has been abandoned indefinitely. Have a nice day.

PGIWiki Projects :
PGIWiki Toolbar — This project will go on hiatus. The development will continue, but the FF extension will only be for the personal use of the admin. The project page will remain in the wiki, but will no longer be advertised in the front page.
Timeline of Philippine Online Gaming and Philippine Online Games List — The biggest challenge for these two projects is deciding how their project pages should look like. Once those are set, it's downhill all the way for the two of them.

Main Content :
GamesMaster List of Issues — The most disturbing thought is that, out of everything that is placed in the wiki, this may be the only thing that will never be completed. Don't get hopes up for this.
Wiki Portals — All portals will be developed and populated accordingly, except for two. Portals are important because they serve as guidelines on what to do next in the wiki. The two categories which will not be created, unfortunately, are "Clans" and "People", because the significance of certain entities may be debatable for some. The need for such entries will come up in time, but for now it's best to leave those two categories alone.
New Random Trivia — The "Did You Know…?" portion of the front page randomizes new trivia every minute. Currently, there are only three pages being randomized. That number needs to be increased soon.
Disclaimer Page — A general disclaimer for the wiki, located in the sidebar, needs to be composed soon.
Miscellaneous Content — As stated before, the Wiki Portals serve as the guidelines on which articles will be created or updated. Expect the usual updates once in a while.

In an effort to provide better service towards the community, nearly all sub-sections of the old wiki were removed last February 16, 2009. The removal includes the following sections, among others: Writers' Guild, Kwentong POGI, PGIWiktionary, PGIWiki Library and Cheap Gamer.

Some sections are merely integrated towards the main wiki section, while other sections such as the Writers' Guild are removed completely.

The next development step is the proliferation of portals. These pages are identified with the prefix "portal:" in the URL. Portals are vital toward easier navigation for visitors and to help prevent total reliance on the wiki's search module to find all relevant articles. Since the wiki does not identify pages through tags, using portals is another way to manually organize the content of the wiki.
